WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour is an all-volunteer, non-profit radio program created purely for the joy of grassroots music. From its beginning in 1998, it has grown to be heard on radio stations all over the world. Each week, a one-hour program showcases some very special artists in what's called "not a concert, but a one-hour musical conversation." It is produced and hosted by its creator, Micheal Johnathon.
This week's guest is Amy Grant, thre best-selling singer of contemporary Christian pop music.
All of WoodSong's programs are available in the website archives, and if you like grassroots (including folk, bluegrass, gospel, and more) music, you can subscribe to their podcasts so that the newest shows are delivered to your computer (free) as soon as they're produced. If you live in the Lexington area or you're planning a trip, check into the tickets for their weekly show!
