Beethoven Symphony No. 9

From Britain's 2012 Proms, Beethoven's magnificent 9th Symphony in D Minor, Opus 125. This is sometimes known as "the Choral," as it was the first major symphony to use voices. The words are sung in the fourth movement, with four soloists and a choir, and were taken from the poem "Ode to Joy".
